Iran Is Secretly Doing Nuclear Weapons Research, Iranian Opposition Group Says

The National Council of Resistance of Iran said the Islamic Republic has been conducting nuclear weapons research in a hidden location

Iranian opposition group National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) disclosed during a press conference in Washington, D.C. on Friday that  Iran is secretly conducting research into developing nuclear weapons components, which is in violation of the Iran Deal. NCRI says that Iran has been looking into bomb triggers and enriched uranium and is doing engineering and weaponization testing at a complex near Tehran. Alireza Jafrazadeh, NCRI’s Washington office deputy director, said the walled military complex is off limits to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is tasked with keeping an eye on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
